Founder of Equipping the Persecuted, Judd Saul, discusses efforts and progress in Nigeria with Jon Harris, author and producer of the Conversation That Matter podcast.
Our team recently returned from Nigeria! God has used our ministry as a tool to provide and care for the physical and spiritual needs of these precious people. We are humbled and filled with gratitude for God's hand of protection, His provision, and His favor upon our efforts in Nigeria.
Our NGO in Nigeria is called Equipping The Needy Initiative. We have recently built a school for an IDP camp in Central Nigeria.
This is their first of week of school after 2 years since their village was attacked.
We support over 100 widows monthly. Many of these women were married to pastors who were killed.
We have been working on installing village alarm systems to help warn others in case of attacks. These alarm systems are able to help people be alert when danger is near. So far, we have installed over 10 systems.
This is the installation of a water well in a IDP camp in central Nigeria. There are over 1000 people in this camp. The nearest water well was over 5 kilometers away. They have been displaced from their village since 2020. Over 1/4 of there village was killed and all their belongings were destroyed by terrorists.
